Arriesgando la vida, peligro de muerte

Fue en el 2017, martes, 21 de Noviembre, cuando ocurrió un hecho insólito. Mi técnico afinador me dijo que el piano gran cola Steinway tenía una pata “suelta”, es decir, le faltaba un tornillo y por tanto era “extremadamente peligroso”, si no llega a ser que él es uno de los pocos que antes de empezar a afinar revisa el piano por arriba y por abajo, y se dio cuenta.
En la actuación señalada del 21 de Noviembre de 2017 a las 19:00 en el Teatro de los Duques de Pastrana (por la Castellana, Madrid www.solidaridadikasa.es ) perteneciente a la ONCE, mi afinador fue unas horas antes para darle el toque ideal al piano. Tal fue su sorpresa que se pegó un susto de muerte y llamó a todos los trabajadores que había por allí con cara muy seria, no sin haberse planteado incluso llamar a la policía ya que eso era un riesgo de muerte.
Los transportistas del piano lo habían dejado así en el escenario. El piano estaba ubicado en un sótano y de ahí tenían que moverlo, por mediación de las ruedas que tiene, hacia el ascensor que sube directamente al centro del escenario.
Ni yo había visto semejante negligencia en mi vida, ni él, que lleva más tiempo que yo, pues es algo mayor.
Un piano de media tonelada, Steinway, sin el tornillo de la pata derecha delantera el instrumento se convierte en un arma mortal. Según otro técnico experto de igual gran nivel, nada más comentárselo exclama: Uff, ¡te rompe las piernas!
El tornillo en cuestión, todos los conocedores de lo que es un piano saben que es largo y grande. No se sale así como así, es imprescindible haberlo quitado, desenroscado, para que se saliera. Inmediatamente estuvieron buscando el tornillo y finalmente dijeron que lo encontraron en el sótano donde siempre reposaba ese piano.
Eso me hizo pensar y conjeturar posibles situaciones, lógico. Imaginaos que por un supuesto mi afinador no lo revisa o no se da cuenta, y al poco tiempo tengo yo que dar un concierto, y seguro que yo no me iba a dar cuenta. A nadie se le ocurre mirar a ver si todas las patas tienen los tornillos en su sitio… Inclusive pensé, bueno, yo tengo reflejos, en cuanto hubiera notado el más mínimo movimiento hubiese pegado un brinco. Pero el escenario tiene un pequeño desnivel que baja hacia el patio de butacas. Ya lo visualizaba como en la película “Tiburón”… cayendo el piano y deslizándose hacia el patio de butacas… uff madre mía la que podría haber pasado, ya que estaba todo eso lleno de gente y además las personalidades son precisamente las que ocupaban dichos lugares… La pregunta es, ¿cuántos se hubieran salvado?
Luego pensando tipo Ágata Christie, o Sherlock Holmes… uhmmm así con la lupa y cavilando… ¿Quién podría tener interés de asesinarme, o de frustrar ese evento? ¿O de asesinar al afinador? Aunque en ningún lado decía que iba a ir nadie a afinar…
En el 2014 sugerí ese Teatro para la celebración de un concierto, pues había estado estudiando todos los espacios posibles y viables de Madrid, seleccionando el Teatro de los Duques de Pastrana por reunir varias características que lo convertían en un recinto muy especial y que además estaba infra-utilizado ya que la ONCE apenas hacía allí algunas reuniones de socios o el colegio de al lado una fiesta de fin de curso y nada más, cuando es un Teatro ideal por ejemplo para una Zarzuela o incluso Ópera. Está bien ubicado en lo que se considera el centro de Madrid (la Castellana), tiene un parking, otro parking del colegio Nuestra Señora del Remedio, tiene un piano Steinway de gran cola bastante bueno aunque ya antiguo pero de los de cosecha de la mejor, una acústica excelente, megafonía, todos los medios para realizar un concierto de primera categoría, el exterior es precioso, con jardines al lado y un palacete, y un aforo de unas 500 localidades.
También propuse entonces realizar en ese espacio una serie de conciertos, o un ciclo. Fue un éxito y posteriormente se ofreció en los salones contiguos un coctel.
Tal repercusión debió llamar la atención de la empresa Excelentia

Imagino claro, que con un piano más nuevo los tornillos de las patas no los querrán desaflojar nadie y por eso serán eventos más “seguros”. Pero puede ser que haya espíritus por allí, fantasmas, tiene pinta, y sean ellos los que preparan emboscadas traidoras.
Así que felicidades a Javier Martí, que sin haber arriesgado nada tomó buena cuenta de mis ideas sin decir palabra, y a HINVES que también las cogió rápido al vuelo. También a Zimerman, que ha encontrado un nicho allí cuando ya casi no se hablaba de él. Además es un experto técnico de piano, se las sabe todas y cuando toca revisa los pianos por cada milímetro de su superficie.

The screw in question, all connoisseurs of what a piano is know that it is long and large. It does not come out just like that, it is essential to have it removed, unscrewed, so that it would come out. They were immediately looking for the screw and finally said they found it in the basement where that piano always rested.
That made me think and guess possible situations, logical. Imagine that, of course, my tuner does not review it or does not realize it, and soon I have to give a concert, and surely I would not realize it. Nobody can think to see if all the legs have the screws in place ... I even thought, well, I have reflexes, as soon as I noticed the slightest movement would have jumped. But the stage has a small slope that goes down to the armchair patio. I already visualized it as in the movie "Shark" ... dropping the piano and sliding into the armchair ... uff my mother what could have happened, since it was all that full of people and also the personalities are precisely those that occupied these places ... The question is, how many would have been saved?
Then thinking like Agata Christie, or Sherlock Holmes ... uhmmm like that with the magnifying glass and thinking ... Who could have an interest in killing me, or frustrating that event? Or to kill the tuner? Although nowhere was he saying that nobody was going to tune ...
In 2014 I suggested that Theater for the celebration of a concert, because I had been studying all possible and viable spaces in Madrid, selecting the Theater of the Dukes of Pastrana for gathering several characteristics that made it a very special venue and that was also infra-used since the ONCE barely made there some meetings of partners or the school next door an end of course party and nothing else, when it is an ideal Theater for example for a Zarzuela or even Opera.
